OUTLINE OF THE PROJECT
The client was considering a takeover of a company in the same line of business. N&M conducted pre-investigation into the acquiree’s potential risks before going into negotiation process.
Problem-solving process and results
Since the client obtained only the acquiree’s financial statements and tax returns of the past several years, N&M performed profit analysis, financial soundness analysis and cash flow analysis based on the financial statements of the past several years and quantified and identified the potential risks. Moreover N&M performed financial analysis to determine whether the acquiree is a good investment based on
the numerical analysis and submitted a report.
