OUTLINE OF THE PROJECT
Since the Japanese subsidiary was established merely to support the parent company, we were consulted what would be the best way to minimize the operating cost for the subsidiary.
Problem-solving process and results
Partnering with the lawyer, we proposed an engagment not only restricting ourselves as accountants but also providing assistance in translating legal issues and HR areas. In HR areas, we provided assistance in employee contract. We communicated closely with the parent company CEO to provide the best fit resolution in emloyment issues for the subsidiary.
