Revision of Employment Insurance Premium Rate
The premium rate for Employment insurance was reduced from April 1,2009.
Total : from 1.5 % to 1.1%
Employer : from 0.9% to 0.7%
Employee: from 0.6% to 0.4%
*Different rates apply to some specific types of business such as agriculture, forestry and fisheries industry.
