Revision of the premium rate for nursing care insurance
As for nursing care insurance, which is run by Japan Health Insurance Association (“Kyokai Kenpo”), the premium rate will increase from current 1.13% (employee’s rate 0.565%) to 1.19% (also 0.595%) starting from March 2009 (payment due in April).
Nursing care insurance applies to the employees aged 40 to 64.
